$11,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

The Rainier Beach Chapter of Dollars for Scholars, which is overseen by the RB Alumni Association, is offering $11,000 in scholarships to Rainier Beach High School 2009 Graduates. Scholarship Application Forms will be available in early March and due in Mid-April. "Student Excellence Award" Scholarships are awarded to students based on academic achievement, involvement, and overcoming obstacles to success. Don Alexander "Freedom is a Constant Struggle" scholarships are awarded to African-American Students who demonstrate commitment to community service & involvement. More details to follow shortly.
